Known as the “Horse Capital of the World”, Lexington is truly paradise for horse lovers. Horses and racing have been part of our community since the early 19th Century. In October, celebrate 150 years of history at the Red Mile. Across town, Keeneland, is opening the largest expansion in its storied history. And the world’s only park dedicated to the horse – our Kentucky Horse Park – will host events all month.
